The library association of Bihar (LAB) was formed by Mr. Kumar Gaurav. First of all, in August 2020, an online seminar was organized among the library professionals of Bihar to talk on the list of library associations and all members suggested the name of Library Association of Bihar (LAB). After that sa governing body was formed with the following members: - Professor Manoj Kumar Sinha, Professor SK Singh, Professor Ranjit Kumar Chowdhary, Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Dr. DD Lal, Dr. Rajesh Jha, Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Dr. Mahesh Singh, Dr. Munawar Iqbal and Kumar Gaurav were the members.
On the March 31, 2022, the registration of LAB was made by the Prohibition Excise & Registration Department, Government of Bihar.
